Professional Comportment
This is a sponsored SHP conference hosted on the Georgia Tech campus and attendees are expected to comport themselves in a professional manner throughout the conference in alignment with both the hosting organization’s and hosting site’s standards.
Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion/spirituality, politics, or technology choices. We will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.
At the discretion of the conference organizers, conference participants violating this social contract may be sanctioned or your conference access may be revoked entirely without eligibility for a refund.
Community Health
This event will be hosted in person and thus in the spirit of community responsibility we are adapting to the hosting site’s Community Health policy which can be viewed here: https://health.gatech.edu/coronavirus/faqs/. Attendees acknowledge risks and responsibilities of joining an in-person conference and will work together as a community to mitigate the spreading of communicable illnesses as outlined in the 2025 SHP Community Health policy. Please refer to the 2025 SHP Community Health policy regarding refunds due to illness prior to or during the conference.
View the full Community Health Policy here: www.shpconference.com/s/SHP-2025-Community-Health-Policy.pdf
Please direct any questions relevant to community health practices and standards prior to the conference to Don Domenici (ddprime@hotmail.com). Questions relevant to community health practices and standards during the conference can be addressed to Dennis Brown (dbrown@msp.edu).
